Colin is 40 years old and has been working with Brendan since soon after the federal election in 2001. Colin has worked previously in sales, for a student union, as a travel agent, and as an English teacher in Venezuela. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and  completed a Diploma of Education at La Trobe University in 2003.

Colin lives in Brunswick, is married with a son and step-daughter and belongs to the Brunswick branch of the ALP. Colin is a member of the CPSU.
